The Wichita Shakespeare Company will be holding auditions for its all female September production of PERICLES. Auditions are Thursday June 27th from 7-10pm and Saturday June 29 from 2-5pm. Auditions will be at University Friends Church at 1840 W University.
Readings from the script will be provided. This version will feature a cast of 8 women who will collectively play over 40 characters. If any of you have always wanted to play the dashing hero, swarthy sailor, raucous pirate, as well as virtuous young maiden, or wicked queen – this is the show for you. Women aged 18 and up and of multiple ethnicities are encouraged to audition. Performances are September 6-22 and rehearsals will begin around the first of August.
